Geoff interviews confidence coach Nada Nasserdeen on why most professionals struggle with self-confidence and how to break the beliefs that limit performance. The episode covers her Four Bs framework for diagnosing and dismantling confidence-crushing beliefs. Best for LOs who feel hesitant on camera, in front of agents, or when self-promoting.

Confidence isn't about eliminating fear — it's about preventing fear from taking the wheel and sabotaging forward action.

The playbook

  1. Step 1 — Belief: Identify the specific belief blocking your success (e.g., 'I'm not credible enough to teach agents').
  2. Step 2 — Backstory: Trace where that belief originated — childhood, a past failure, a critical manager, a lost deal.
  3. Step 3 — Behavior: Name the exact behavior the belief is causing (e.g., not posting videos, avoiding agent outreach, under-preparing for presentations).
  4. Step 4 — Break it: Write one immediate action that contradicts the belief and shifts the behavior forward; repeat consistently until the belief loses its grip.

Worth quoting

“Let fear get in the car. But don't let fear take the wheel.”
“It's not about perfection, it's about progress.”

Best for

LOs who are competent in their craft but hold back on video, self-promotion, or agent outreach because of self-doubt or fear of judgment.
