Agent ReferralsVideo & YouTubeTeam & LeadershipDatabase & Past Clients

Amy Wolff breaks down how she runs a high-volume purchase-focused mortgage business while working only 40 hours a week. She covers her agent meeting cadence, how she exited co-paying for Zillow leads, her team structure with loan partners, and her video-based milestone update process. Best for LOs who want systems that scale without sacrificing service quality.

Closing 180+ loans a year at 40 hours a week is a team and systems problem, not a hustle problem — build the right team first, then sit in the pit with them.

The playbook

  1. 1. Lead comes in — Amy or loan partner Charlie does a quick phone vet (credit score threshold, employment, basic qualifying).
  2. 2. If qualified, send a needs list CC'ing the loan partner, who replies with a warm intro and a $100-off coupon for docs returned within 24 hours.
  3. 3. Licensed loan partners review income, assets, and structure the file (or escalate to Amy for complex structuring).
  4. 4. Every Thursday, contact all pre-approved buyers not yet under contract to check weekend shopping plans and prep updated letters.
  5. 5. Once under contract, loan partner records a weekly Bombbomb video status update for each file and sends to the full transaction team (agent, buyer, listing agent) every Monday or Tuesday.
  6. 6. At closing, capture a phone video testimonial from the buyer mentioning both Amy and the referring agent; post same day and share with the agent.

Worth quoting

“We want to work with people who we're going to be a partner with.”
“I work hard, but I play harder.”

Best for

LOs doing solid volume but still working 60+ hours a week who need a team structure and repeatable process to protect their time without losing agent relationships.
